The old saying "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" doesn't seem to influence people at all, I am surprised at how many people don't bother with it, they say things like...it's just a waste of time....I am always in a rush.......I don't know what to have.......I want to lose weight so I skip it.......I grab something about 10ish...etc...etc.

Well the truth is BREAKFAST is the most important meal especially if you want to lose weight, if you have a good quality low GI breakfast it will fill you up for longer, kickstart your metabolism (which burns FAT) and put of the 10 o'clock sugar rush. It has been proven time and time again that people who eat breakfast have lower fat, leaner, more muscular bodies. Obviously the breakfast needs to be of "the right type" so not a 1000 calorie fatty fry up (not many have time for that anyway) but something simple egg and toast, Porridge, fruit etc.
So if you want to build muscle or lose fat or look toned then think breakfast, get the habit and make the time, it really is worth it.
