The importance of the little things

I was speed walking with a client this morning along Crosby beach, passed the Anthony Gormley's - Another Place (they are great by the way), and as we were talking, (just we were walking fast!) My client was saying how she notices the little things in her life that show the benefit of her weight loss and regular exercise. I asked her to give me an example; she told me how she had given herself a pedicure earlier that morning, and half way through realised that she was lifting her foot up onto the opposite knee, so she could see what she was doing, something she hasn't been able to do for along time. It occured to me that it rarely gets mentioned the "little" benefits of improved flexibility, regular exercise and weight loss, but ultimately it is these things that make a real and lasting impact upon your life. If you can function better, then you will be wanting to move more which then means you use your body and muscles more, so you lose more weight, get fitter etc....you get the picture, So go for it and look to improve the little things then the big things will look after themselves, visit http://www.fittoyou.co.uk/ to see if we can help you with those little things to achieve BIG.
